All items are checked before shipping to ensure there is no damage and the item is as described.  
If you would like to cancel your purchase prior to shipment or want to change the item you want to purchase, please contact us immediately by email to accommodate the change.
Once an item is shipped, an exchange only is accepted.   Karen McFarlane accepts exchanges only on full price items. Contact us immediately if you wish to return your item for credit towards another purchase. Be sure to include the item number. Then you have up to 7 days from the date you received the item, to return it. After 7 days we regret that no credits can be issued. No exchanges or credit will be issued for damaged or sale items.  
When we receive the returned item we will send you a code that can be used for your future credit. It will entitle you to use that credit toward another purchase for a period of 1 year from the original purchase date.   All items returned must be in their original packaging and be in undamaged condition. They must be sent to us through an insured method such as Xpresspost in Canada, or registered mail in the U.S. or courier service and accompanied by a tracking number; we cannot be responsible for lost or misdirected returns. Please note that you will be responsible for the original and return shipping costs when returning an item.  
Items purchased at must be returned by mail.   Jewellery purchased through Karen McFarlane distributors are subject to the vendor’s terms and do not apply to this online return policy.  
We hope you will be happy with your purchases, but if for any reason you are not, our company's sole maximum liability will not be more than to issue you a store credit in the amount of the original purchase price (not including shipping and handling charges) as per our standard cancellation and/or return policies.
